Wendy’s expands its Made to Crave menu with the return of the popular Big Bacon Classic. The returning fan favorite, which clocks in at 640 calories, was originally introduced in 1992, but it was discontinued in 2007 when the chain launched the Baconator. The original Big Bacon Bacon Classic featured a Kaiser bun which is not present in the current iteration of the burger.
The new Big Bacon Classic includes all the same ingredients as before, but it’s now served on a plain bun. It features a quarter-pound of fresh, never-frozen beef, American cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, tomato, crisp lettuce, onion, pickle, ketchup, and mayo on a toasted bun.
The Big Bacon Classic also comes in double and triple sizes and contain 880 and 1170 calories, respectively.
