KFC now offers Mac and Cheese as an entrée with the launch of the new Mac & Cheese Bowls.
Available in two varieties—original and spicy—the new Mac n Cheese Bowls contain approximately 660 and 790 calories, respectively, per serving.
Both options feature the brand’s popular Mac and Cheese served in a bowl and topped with their iconic Popcorn Chicken Nuggets and sprinkled with a unique 3-cheese blend. The Spicy version, however, comes smothered in Nashville Hot Sauce, thus resulting in additional calories and resultant weight gain.
Unfortunately, the new bowls are not being sold a la carte at the moment. They’re available as part of a $5 Fill-Up meal that also comes with a drink and a chocolate chip cookie. So depending on your choices, you could end up with a 1000-plus-calorie meal.
The Mac & Cheese Bowls nutritional information is not yet available on the chain’s website. However, we reached out to our local KFC, and they provided us with the following information:
“A Mac and Cheese Bowl has 660 calories, 324 calories from fat, 36g of fat, 57g of carbs, 4g of fiber, 4g of sugar, and 27g of protein.”
KFC usually takes a long time to list nutritional information for their limited time menu items. Some times too late, but they eventually do.
